For our Toddler Program, your child must be at least 20 months old; for the Primary program, your child should be at least 3 years old and successfully passed the primary readiness assessment to be done by the school.
Yes. Children younger than 3 years old have nap period while children older than 3 have nap or quiet period. Nap or rest period is from around 12:45-2:30 PM. Younger children may nap early or longer to follow the schedule at home. Rest period for primary children is 1:00 - 2:15 PM.
Yes. For Toddler Program, we have 4 days a week, 9 AM -3 PM. Families enroll in this schedule may pick up their child after lunch if they prefer their child to sleep at home.
There is no part-time schedule for primary program.
School is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
No. Lunch is not included in the tuition but morning and afternoon snacks are provided.
No. Video tours are available in our website in the program pages.
Yes. We have a deck in the school for outdoor play and activities. We also visit Helen Wills Park and nearby parks and playground on a good day.
Yes. We have an 8-week summer camp/play-care from July to August. This program is open to children ages 2 - 7 years old. Send us an email to reserve your spot.
Yes. Lead guides/teachers are Montessori trained and credentialed. Teacher Assistants and Aides meet the required credentials of California Licensing. All staff have been background checked.
Parents can get involved by volunteering during special events, occasions, open houses, and advocating for the school through their social media or sponsoring an ad campaign. Parents may also help by funding projects, providing materials and school supplies for the school and our outreach activities.
Parent-Teacher conferences are held twice a school year to assess and discuss the progress of the child. Parents may schedule an appointment for any other issues and concerns related to their child's learning and education.
Parent education events are conducted at least twice a year. We also recommend to parents webinars, articles, and online sources that promote effective parenting.
